We had the privilege of creating beautiful artwork for our Remembrance Day display.
It’s always a heartwarming experience to listen to the stories of our residents, particularly their recollections of youth and how those experiences shaped their lives. As they shared their memories, we were transported back in time. We heard tales of childhood innocence, the excitement of young love, and the hopes and dreams of a generation. Some shared stories of wartime experiences, the sacrifices made, and the hardships endured. These personal narratives offer a unique perspective on history, reminding us of the human cost of conflict and the importance of remembering the past.
