Plan Your Visit
We welcome visitors who wish to view our care home to see how it feels, or family members visiting their loved one. Please call in advance to arrange a convenient time.
Visiting Hours
There are no strict visiting hours, but we do request that you arrange your visit ahead of time to ensure manager, Sophie is here to meet you, and our residents’ routines are maintained.
Visitor Guidelines
Whole families can visit, and we encourage children and pets with prior arrangement. You can enjoy the garden and patio, conservatory, lounge or visit your loved one in their room.
Health & Safety
Please follow infection control measures when you visit Offmore Farm:
- Don’t come if you feel unwell
- Use the hand sanitiser provided
- You may be asked to wear face masks or other PPE
- Please report any concerns to our staff immediately

Can the grandchildren visit?
Our manager, staff, and residents always look forward to welcoming children. There’s plenty to keep them entertained during visits; from the garden to activity boxes and games. Their presence truly brings sunshine into our home
Are there any restrictions on visiting times or numbers of visitors?
We ask a maximum of 3 persons per resident to enable staff to accommodate space. Numbers can be increased with notice.
Are visitors able to stay overnight?
Given notice, yes we could accommodate overnight stay.

Parking
We have onsite parking for around 10 vehicles, and limited parking along Offmore Farm Close, which does not fall within a Controlled Parking Zone
Public Transport
Diamond Bus Route 10 from Kidderminster takes you to bus stop ‘Offmore Shops (Adj)’ which is less than one minute walk away from us.
The nearest train station is Kidderminster Railway Station, around seven minutes’ walk away from us.
Accessibility
Offmore Farm has step-free access, accessible toilets and a choice of ground floor visitor spaces. Please ask if you need any assistance.
What to Expect When You Arrive
When you get here

You can expect a warm welcome from manager, Sophie, who will check your ID and ask you to sign in

You may be introduced to other staff members, in particular, if your loved one is a resident you will have the opportunity to meet with your Relationship Manager

We’ll make sure your loved one is ready to meet you and find a nice spot for your visit where you can enjoy a drink and snack together

If you are visiting Offmore Farm Care Home to inspect the facilities we will show you around and answer any questions

If you’d like to discuss Dementia, funding, bespoke Care Pathways or anything else we can return to the office for a private conversation.
During your visit
Enjoy your time with your loved one in our beautiful home! Feel free to bring treats, photo albums, board games, books or newspapers, children and pets (with prior arrangement) and make yourself comfortable.
We hope you will feel at home with us during your visit, but you may also take your loved one to appointments or trips into town.
Children and pets
Please call ahead should you wish to visit with pets or children. Our busy schedule of activities may mean it’s not safe or convenient to have animals or children around, and while pets are usually welcomed by everyone, some residents may be not uncomfortable around them.
